It's a grey, grey, cold and wintry day today. We're trying to batten down the hatches a little bit in case the winds get as bad as they are predicted to.
Religion - We just did our memorization again today. We will need to use all of Friday's religion time for catch-up because I don't see it happening today. So tomorrow we will be making our own hymnals and watching chapter 14 about Joseph Smith and receiving revelation.
Math - I tried to have the kids do their math in the car on the way home from co-op. Chicklette didn't really get any done, which didn't surprise me, but Racer just dug his heels in and wouldn't try today. He's working on perimeter of irregular shapes and is resisting adding all the different numbers together. He finally finished his math at home and unfortunately, he'll be doing it again because he got half of them wrong. Racer was just in such a hurry to get done that he forgot a few sides to add in and probably made some addition mistakes as well. Hopefully Chicklette finishes her review tonight in math.
Co-op - Today's letter was J. We tried Jello jigglers shaped like J's which Sunshine loved. Then we started jumping. We jumped to get our wiggles out, we jumped to "Do As I'm Doing", and we jumped in a follow the leader game. We tried jumping once, jumping twice and jumping three times. Then we jumped to the side, to the front and back and then to the other side. We had lots of fun. I brought a jellyfish project and some of the kids had a great time coloring with the glue instead of the crayons. Victor's hands got a little sticky.
Miss Marie brought a very fun turkey project. The kids practiced their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination by sliding Perler beads over pipe cleaner feathers. The kids were so focused on this project and they did a great job. I was very impressed with how much concentration they displayed.
Sunshine also read some books about Thanksgiving with Miss Shelley and we did a cornucopia craft along with toys, the weather song, the ABC's and our name song. He actually knew two of his letters. I haven't heard the reports from the other kids' classes except that Racer did not know who Elvis Presley was. Too bad since he's the only one that has been to Graceland.

Latin - The kids finished the majority of their Latin in the car. Chicklette just has a couple common noun and proper noun pairs left. We have a bit to make up tomorrow, but we should still be okay.
