I've decided marriage is not a right. It's a privilege. Otherwise single people would be able to say, "I have right to be married. Therefore, you (the state) must provide someone for me to be married to." Obviously, we don't work on marriage that way. For it to be a right, all people must have access to it and single people, even those who dearly want to be married, don't have access to it. Ergo sum, marriage isn't a right. It's a perk that some people get to do and some people do not.
